When my daughter had 2 years old she took a music magazine from my hands search through it and said “There is no Daddy”.
I needed to do something about it!
go.at is the answer for above mentioned event – rock music project driven by Piotr “goat” “kozioł” Kozłowski (music, lyrics, guitar, vocal, production) is a series of events that took place between end of 2014 and the beginning of 12019.
2017
Recordings sessions in Demontażownia (2014-2017) finally transformed into the the public form in February 2017 when “miasto-z” – first video single was released. Short after this event (end of March) “shaping stone” video premiered. Those recordings were released at the end of the year in the form of a limited single with hand-painted covers called “bite me“.
Preparations for the release of the debut album began a moment later – on December 2, 2017, the first single promoting the album “to have a” with the “approach” video was released.
2018
2018 is the year when many events have taken place, also unexpected changes. Starting with next videos publishing – “chcę wyjść” and “daleko, wygodnie” (accordingly 10.02, 5.04), playing together (concerts), ending with winning the Ost-Rock Underground Fest in Ostróda on November 3, 2018 (we had the pleasure to compete in the final together with Oil Stain and Józef Ost).
2019
“to have a” – long play debut album was self-published 25th of January, short time earlier kozioł shut down the band getting back to the roots – project formula…
Long play “to have a” is a nod to 90’s music characterized by simple and easy and catchy melodies.
It’s an individual reflection on life… like world’s life digitalization which displace normal – interpersonal relations, passing, the neccesity of migration, the feeling of long autumn and winter in Poland, an attempt to find your own everyday place …
“To have a” is also proof that ordinary situations just happen – the first lines of drums were recorded in the studio without previous attempts in 2014, and subsequent visits were rolled out in time as a result of one million one hundred and three hundred and eighty three events (approximately).
2019
Bartosz Wojciechowski’s moving out from Warsaw decision ended with a quick recording a farewell material – EPs – “burn up my scars“. It was completed in 6 days and released on May 23, published in 100 pieces only (all hand made) with a linocut on the front cover.
